Leadership TARC
Texas Association of Regional Councils (TARC) Registration Information
The Leadership TARC CPM program is designed exclusively for participants who are selected by the Texas Association of Regional Councils (TARC) and the regional councils of governments (COGs) they are employed by. The program is conducted in a hybrid format, consisting of one in-person session at the hosting Council of Government and two days via live Zoom.
Three full-day classroom sessions are required per track, except for Track 7. Track 7 includes two online classroom sessions and independent study, allowing three months to complete the Capstone project. The program begins in January, and students who complete all tracks consecutively can expect to graduate in 21 months, with a graduation ceremony in December in Austin, Texas. Please read the full CPM Track Completion policy carefully before registering to ensure you can commit to these expectations.
The cost per track is $695, due by the first class day of the course unless other arrangements are made. Payment can be made via credit card (preferred) or by an alternate method such as check. Travel costs for the in-person class for each track (except for Track 7) at the hosting Council of Government are also required. If cost is a barrier for your regional council, please reach out to John Austin Stokes at TARC.
Once accepted to the program, enter the registration portal and select “Texas Assoc of Regional Councils (TARC)”
